Lizards & Snakes

Lizards and snakes are cold-blooded reptiles with scales. Most lizards have four legs, external ears and movable eyelids. In response to environmental changes or stresses, some lizards (like chameleons, for example) can change color. Snakes are carnivorous and have a long, narrow body and no limbs. The Zoo's lizards and snakes live primarily at the Reptile and Amphibian House.
