Okapi finds a new home
The Zoo’s Okapi, Kesho, was the last animal to be relocated from the Pachyderm House as part of the Hamilton Children’s Zoo and Education Center project. Kesho was born September 26, 1992 and joined the Philadelphia Zoo family on July 6, 2000 from the Bronx Zoo. Thanks to the tremendous work of the Zoo staff, Kesho’s move went smoothly and he is adjusting to his new home very well. Come visit him at his new exhibit across from the Fisher Price Stage on Impala Lawn.
