Little Zoo on Wheels (Grades PreK to 2)

Discovery begins with a Little Zoo on Wheels Program for your preschool, kindergarten or early learner groups. The following Early Education programs are 45 minute lessons that engage young children with live animals and touchable artifacts.Zoo on Wheels

45 Minute program, up to 40 children $275
Additional same day little Zoo on Wheels $100
 
Available all year. Maximum allowable layover between programs is 90 minutes.

Tiny Tots (Ages 1-3 years old)

Maximum of 15 children per program.
Tiny Tots are 20 minute programs which offer live animal experiences to connect young children with nature.

20 minute program,
up to 15 children $275
Any additional same day Tiny Tots   $100

Reservation and Cancellation Policies for Outreach Programs
  • All Outreach programs must be paid in full by credit card or purchase order at the time of booking.

Ears, Eyes, Nose and Toes
Early learners learn all about the five senses through live animal presentations, songs and finger plays!
 
Fur, Feathers, Scales, and Skin
Children become Zoo Scientists and discover which animals have soft fur, fluffy feathers, or dry scales. Lots of touchable artifacts help early learners get a real feel for all types of critters.
 
Seasonal Programs
Wild and Wonderful Winter- Winter can be a time of rest but for some it’s a time to nest. Meet animals that migrate, hibernate or wear snowshoes to keep away those winter blues.
 
Zoo Safari
Join us on an imaginary safari! Early learners use play, song and imagination to explore the world of animals! Choose from Rainforest Safari, Desert Safari, Around the World Safari or Backyard Safari.

The Zoo can customize any topic for your program. We are happy to enhance any theme with animals and artifacts. The Zoo also offers the opportunity to customize your program for special needs audiences.
