Summer Camp Counselor Assistants
Join our
summer camp programs as we take "trips" into the Zoo to learn about the animal topic of the day, assist in animal lessons in the classroom and animal crafts.
Junior Ambassador Program
This opportunity is for highly independent, outgoing, high school aged students that enjoy interacting with guests and have a passion for animals and conservation. Junior Ambassadors lead organized activities and informal conversations to share the Zoo's mission of conservation with our guests. Volunteers commit to two 8 hour shifts per month during the school year, and one 8 hour shift per week in the summer. This is a year-round program, although teens may volunteer for the summer only if they commit to a total of 80 hours of service.
