Themed Overnights
Age Details School-aged children and their adult chaperones.
Date Details Most Friday and Saturday Nights. Also weeknights during spring break, school holidays and summertime. TEACHERS-weeknight dates are available for your group all year! Call for availability
Time Details 6:30PM until 10:00AM the next morning
Pricing Details $60 per person
This intimate program is designed for small groups of at least 20 people (maximum depends on the location). 

Evening snack, continental breakfast, morning tour and Zoo admission for the following day are included. 

Space is limited.  Advanced registration is required.  Please call 215-243-5235.

Themes include:
  • Critters of the Night - Participate in a Zoo adventure with your group after dark!  Meet and discover nocturnal animals and make a craft to take home with you.
  • Scales and Snores - Crocodiles, snakes, lizards, turtles and more!  Join us for an overnight adventure and learn all of our scaly friends!   Hike the Zoo at night, visit reptiles, play reptile games and more!  Guests will camp out in a Zoo classroom and will have a keepsake craft to take home.
  • Frog Frenzy - Learn all about local frogs and toads that may live in your backyard and discover tips to create a habitat that is frog friendly! See a few of our frog friends up close and personal. Guests will camp out in a Zoo classroom and will learn frog origami, participate in a hoppin’ obstacle course and more.
  • Footprints Challenge!  - Learn about the conservation programs the Philadelphia Zoo participates in and how you can do your part to help the environment!  Guests will camp out in a Zoo classroom and will have a keepsake “green” craft to take home.
