Duties

Communications duties include: Assisting with the preparation and distribution of press releases, responding to media inquiries and requests, maintaining the press clip library and statistics, working on seasonal publications and other duties as assigned.
 
Marketing duties include: Assisting with the planning and execution of major marketing events, working with marketing and sales initiatives, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • College Junior or Senior with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism or Public Relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A grade point average of 2.5 or higher
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Professional presentation and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to complete projects ahead of or by deadlines
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Punctuality

Availability

This internship is offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters (hours differ based on season).

Fall internships require a minimum 20 hour weekly commitment

Interns will typically have a Monday through Friday schedule, but may require some evenings and weekends
