The Zoo is a great place for kids to learn and have fun. The Zoo offers a wide variety of engaging educational programs for children as well as families. Kids interact with live animals and learn from our enthusiastic Zoo staff in programs tailored for their age level. The Zoo also now offers special workshops specifically for homeschool students! And don’t forget, the Zoo hosts the wildest camps around!

School's Out Full-Day Camps
If it's a school holiday, the Zoo's the place to be! New this year, we are offering full-day camps.

3-year-olds
Enjoy our animal-themed programs with animal encounters, sing-alongs, and activities designed especially for early learners and their favorite grownup. Registration includes one adult and one child. Call 215-243-5254 to register today.

Junior Advisory Council
The Philadelphia Zoo believes there is no shortage of great ideas from children for improving America’s First Zoo. In an effort to capture these ideas and give them voice, the Zoo is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for its fifth “Junior Advisory Council”.
