This elegant looking song-bird has a long, black, regal tail and a ‘Zoro’-like black eye mask. Its nests are so deep that only the top of the mother’s tail can be seen. Chicks don’t leave the nest until at least 20 days after birth. Our Shrike chicks, Nitro and Bruiser, were born on April 29th and are newly acquainting themselves with the world outside of their nest.
