Explore more!  Enhance your students' Zoo experience with activities that support their continued learning. Within the variety of topics listed below, you'll find worksheets and teacher's notes for your classroom as well field trip activities that can be done here at the Zoo.

Habitats and Adaptations
Students explore how animals are built to survive in their habitats. Recommended for grades 2-6.
 
Exploring Senses
Children explore their senses with activities for the classroom and at the zoo. Recommended for pre-K-2
 
Endangered Species
Through research and role play, students learn about endangered species and actions we can take to save them. Recommended for grades 6 and up. Research activites are open-ended and will gain complexity with higher levels.
 
Creepy Creatures
Students evaluate their feelings towards different animals while discussing important roles the animals have in nature.
 
Early Learners
Through songs and activities, young learners explore colors, shapes and even bugs!
