Lizards & Snakes

Lizards and snakes are cold-blooded reptiles with scales. Most Lizards have four legs, external ears and movable eyelids. In response to environmental changes or stresses, some lizards, such as chameleons, can change color. Snakes are carnivorous and have no limbs, with a narrow and long body. The Zoo's lizards and snakes live primarily at the Reptile and Amphibian House.
