Rock 'n' Roar

June 10 through August 19 11 a.m.
Pack your blanket and put on your dancing shoes, it’s time to rock and roar! Philadelphia Zoo’s Rock 'n' Roar concert series kicks off on June 10th and continues every other Tuesday throughout the summer.

Philadelphia Zoo is proud to host many of the area’s top family-friendly performers for this outdoor concert series, as they bring the joy and art of creating and performing live children’s music to a whole new level. All concerts are free with Zoo admission and will take place on Impala Lawn, so be sure to pack a comfy blanket and snacks.

Summer Ale Festival

July 19 6:30–10 p.m.
Enjoy an evening amongst friends and exotic creatures alike! The Philadelphia Zoo invites you to join us for Summer Ale Festival 2014 where you will sample regional craft beers and enjoy live music – all while surrounded by brilliantly colored birds, majestic great apes and exceptional big cats that call the Zoo's lush gardens and exhibits home.

Tickets include a souvenir tasting cup, free Zoo parking and a free shuttle from 30th Street Station. Summer Ale Festival is for guests 21 years or older.
