Geoffroy's marmosets are distinctive monkeys, recognized for their white cheeks, forehead, and throat. In the wild, these primates live in the lowland rainforests of Brazil.
Equipped for Eating Sap
Like other marmoset species, their incisor teeth are specially adapted to carve small holes in tree trunks to eat sap and gum. These primates will follow army ant swarms to catch insects the ants expose from their hiding spots.
