It is easy to tell males and females apart in this species. Males are black with white faces and females are completely brown.

All in the Family
White-faced sakis are monogamous and live in small family groups consisting of the parents and two to three offspring. Young white-faced sakis become weaned after 6 months. Mothers give birth to single offspring and the infant clings to the mother for the first few weeks of life, after which the father or one of the infant's siblings may also carry the baby. This species is native to the northern Amazon basin.
