Premium Tours: Wake Up with Wildlife
NEW: Through this exclusive tour option, you can see the Zoo before we open to the public, while our animals are often more active. Each experience will be unique, as guided tours will change locations based on who is awake and what is happening around the Zoo. At the end of your tour, pick up a coffee and head out to see the rest of amazing animals!

A major renovation and expansion of Philadelphia Zoo’s Bear Country exhibit is coming, sparked by lead charitable support from the W. P. Carey Foundation! The new, state-of-the-art home for the Zoo’s beloved bear species is scheduled to open in 2026.
