Animal Care

Animal Care is a full team effort.

Many people are involved in making sure every animal is taken care of in a Zoo setting. Zookeepers, veterinarians, nutritionists, curators, scientific researchers, maintenance, and many more, collaborate to create a safe and healthy environment for our animals, with all of their necessary basic needs and enrichment too!

Included are activities for students from K-12 to introduce content areas, observation-based exercises that can be used while here at the Zoo, and activities to expand student thinking!
