Our Neck of the Woods Tree Decorating Contest
Our Neck of the Woods applications are now open!
All local schools, student clubs, community groups, and families are welcome and encouraged to apply!
Be part of an exhibit at the Zoo’s annual LumiNature holiday light show and show off your creativity! Our Neck of the Woods is an opportunity to celebrate your favorite animal by decorating a dazzling tree in its honor. Guests at LumiNature will have the chance to stroll through our illuminated forest and vote for their favorite design!
All participants receive:
- A 9ft artificial tree to decorate onsite at the Zoo
- Up to $500 stipend for decorations
- 10 tickets to the Zoo Community Night
- A private reception just for artists
- The chance to have your work seen by thousands of LumiNature visitors and featured on social media
Winner receives:
- 25 free Zoo tickets
- A free Behind-the-Scenes experience of your choice for up to 6 people
