Please note: the Zoo's animals will be sleeping in their indoor enclosures during LumiNature. Visit the Zoo during our daytime hours to see them out and about!
They are very noisy birds and often gabble to each other like geese while feeding. The most important role of vocalization is to keep the flock together. They also perform honking, grunting and growling as adults, and chicks start cheeping several hours before they hatch.
Boo at the Zoo is back! This year, be on the lookout for our brand new Spiders Alive! exhibit, the return of our vampire bats, and so much more.
